Transportation of concrete
Kámen Zbraslav > Transportation of Concrete
Transportation of fresh mixtures is another service we provide. All our drivers have extensive expertise. They attend regular medical check-ups and receive regular training on occupational health and safety with an emphasis on quality service and customer satisfaction.
Our modern fleet of high-capacity mixture trucks with a drum volume of up to 9 cubic meters will deliver fresh mixtures in Prague and also to the greater Prague region. Our Mercedes and Iveco trucks have engines that comply with the strictest environmental standard EURO III to ensure the transport of large volumes of concrete on site without producing any excessive noise or pollution. They are particularly popular for sites in Prague's historical centre, where access to other types of trucks is not permitted. Where there are no access roads and other types of vehicle are unsuitable, special high-performance all-terrain trucks with four-wheel drive are employed. All vehicles have radio communication with the mixing plant. This allows drivers to report on the progress of casting.
Customers are immediately able to report any slowdown, stoppage, or change in the consistency of mixture to the mixing plant.
The whole process is overseen by the central control room which monitors the routes and locations of vehicles using GPS. This ensures that drivers are always given the right directions when on their way to an unfamiliar site and that they reach it safely. And customers are delivered mixtures in the quality and quantity they have asked for.
And thanks to this, the time required for a fresh mixture to process is reduced.
The transport centre has modern tank semitrailers to ensure continuous supplies of cement for own mixing plants. The Mercedes Benz semitrailer trucks are equipped with environmentally friendly EURO IV engines. These trucks have the lowest noise level and limit the excess noise pollution at the mixing plant site.
Concrete pumping
Mobile pumps mounted on a Tetra or Mercedes all-terrain chassis are used to pump concrete. The Putzmaister or Schwing bodies have a reach of up to 46 meters, a performance of up to 120 cubic meters per hour and are radio-controlled with a maximum remote control range of 100 meters. The notable advantages of using a mobile pump are as follows:
- Shorter completion period due to faster pouring without using a crane.
- Pouring any volume of fresh mixture into any place without using any additional equipment, such as through a window, over ditches or in a building corridor.
The use of mobile pumps may be of particular benefit for small builders as mixing trucks may weigh as much as 32 tonnes and are more likely to damage pavements or access roads. Using a mobile pump, you can easily reach over the roof of a detached house. Pumps have connections to high-pressure steel conveying pipes. An assembly of elbows and hoses allow the concrete to be pumped over a distance of 300 meters to be poured into basements and cellars that may be otherwise inaccessible.
Any high-pressure conveying pipes and accessories required by the customer will be delivered directly to the site.
A maintenance service car is on stand-by duty for the entire time the pump and mixing truck are operational. The engineers are equipped with professional tools and spare parts. There is of course an electric power unit and welding equipment to repair any breakdown at any section of the site.
We are insured against insurable events, and the claim adjuster is immediately called for any accident.
